Wordtracker results spammed?
I signed up for a month long Wordtracker.com subscription to collect current keywords for some of my web projects. While filtering out keywords I noticed something weird in my results. Let’s say I search for wine bottle openers. Results I would expect are something like wine bottle openers, wine bottle opener, bottle opener wine, red wine bottle opener, and so on. I got many of those results, but I also got some really spammy looking results:

These results for me are worthless. However, I wonder how and why those would show up? Is this just a data retrieval problem in Wordtracker or are certain individuals spamming search engines knowing that these results will make it into Wordtracker and that many people who use Wordtracker do not spend enough time cleaning the search results?! I was able to repeat these results with several different keywords and always was junk like shown on the screenshot included.
If you have a Wordtracker.com subscription - verify your results. Might save yourself some time and problems.
