Joel Comm Adsense Secrets “Premier Adsense Coaching Club”

Last week I signed up for Joel Comm’s Adsense Premier Coaching Club. Besides some difficulties getting my user account data (it took Joel 3 days), I am going to only talk about the program itself. I signed up with the first month costing just $9.99 and each following month $97.00. After entering the Adsense Premier Coaching Club website I expected a large library of tools and information, but the result was very disappointing.

The Adsense Club is made out of just a few pages. PDF files, videos, and some sales pitches are all on one page. The main page starts with info about one random member. The next item is a link to “WorldVillage.com” to become a blogger for them. It’s not helpful at all and looks more like a page filler.

The next item after that is a blogging video tutorial. The video’s are made for absolute newbies and a waste of time for anyone with even the basic webmaster knowledge. Anyone with some basic Frontpage skills would be bored by watching these videos. A small line of text informs me that the Joel Comm Adsense Coaching Club always has 3 months of content available. I do consider this as a bad idea because especially newbies would benefit from older content to learn how the Adsense game works.

Moving on to the next item is a two item video tutorial for how to release on Prweb.com. These videos are of better quality and actually quite informational. I have used PRWeb.com before, but the information I saw from the videos was interesting and helpful.

Next item is a video tutorial about how to create a custom search engine via tools available from Google and how to make money from Google Adsense. This feature and how to use it was totally new to me and well worth watching.

The remaining pieces of the Joel Comm Premier Adsense Coaching Club was made of some free ebooks, some interviews (video). There were also some case studies. These case study videos were Ok, contained partially outdated information, but overall were not bad to watch. None of the information was ground breaking and it all can be found easily on the Internet in forums or (free) tutorial websites.

Conclusion: For an absolute newbie with no Adsense and affiliate knowledge at all the club might be helpful, but still leaves many questions open. And with “many” I mean “many”. Pretty much all the information is available for free on the Internet. I do have to admit that the PRWeb tutorial and the tutorial about building my own search engine were good information. One thing that caught my interest was the member network and the option to add my sites. This is stupid and genius at the same time. Stupid from those who add their websites and genius on Joel’s side as he can look at what other people are doing and easily find out what works great and makes a lot of money. My impression of the Premier Adsense Coaching Club is that is really targeting newbie webmasters who jumped on the Adsense Bandwagon and are failing to make money from it. Is this “club” worth the $97.00 per month I would have to pay after the trial? No, by far not. Is it worth $9.99 ? I’d say as a one-time fee for the amount of content offered it is worth it up to a certain degree.
