CrazyEgg Heatmaps

I signed up for the free service of crazyegg.com to see if I can improve the ad placements on one of flagship websites “The Web Hosting Resource Kit”. I know from experience that web hosting ads are paying quite good for a publisher like me, but this has not worked very well on my website. I generate revenue through other sources on that website, but I think it is never too later to start working on creating another source of income.

Thewebhostingresourcekit.com has about ~300 visitors per day. All traffic is organic as I am not doing any active advertising at all. The site is well aged and mature when it comes to SEO. Google has assigned a Page Rank of 6 which is above average. So, with this experiment I hope to improve the ad placement and therefore to increase my income. Once I have firm data I will discuss this here.
